Last question......has anyone's opinion of Aresco changed since this fiasco happened, and the AAC lost schools, then was unable to procure their top targets?

Frankly, I do not think he could have done much about it.

No. Aresco was proactive in trying to raid the Big 12. When that didn’t work he tried to kneecap the MWC. That didn’t work either but he took his shots. That’s pretty much all anyone could ask for.
