they are terrible in football. dont have recruiting grounds ..adding uconn would also be a major perception hit for a conference bleeding perception

they add uconn and no aac, "the aac is better" narrative drastically grows...
houston AD went on a Texas espn sports radio show 3 weeks ago ..and the radio hosts were railing on him for scheduling UConn.. "there is never a reason to schedule uconn".. the same texas that houston most of the big 12 (as an example of the uconn perception here)

uconn is soo far away, to add a team that has had zero notable basketball seasons in 7 years, horrendous in football...its illogical in all points ... theyd be better offer making a western block with sdsu, byu, boise, and gonzaga (bball only) than uconn

it is already confirmed that sdsu and boise want aac full memebrship (all sports)..the aac who is in survival mode too rejected that ideal for distance reasons
