There's nothing that the ACC can do. Nothing. They don't control any of their destiny. They don't have anything to sell, they don't have a TV deal coming up, nothing. Even the PAC has a TV deal coming up that will probably surpass the ACC simply by virtue of the open market, something the ACC hasn't been on since 2004 and won't be on again until 2036. It wouldn't matter if the ACC won the next 5 national titles, there's nothing, NOTHING, to cash in.

The time to act was 20 years ago. The ship sailed, and sunk.

All we can do now is sit around and see what happens, the most likely outcome is being a second tier conference of second and third tier programs that might be able to get one team in the playoffs most years, while the SEC gets 5-6 and Big gets 3-4.

Agreed Lou....and I don't mean to insult.....but I thought you were going to see this years ago. So many of the FSU fan base just didn't see ANY of this and I don't get how. Ask Hokie Mark, I have been saying for years this was coming.

I am amazed at how many got fooled by a ridiculous media calling Swofford a Ninja and the fans went along with all of it.

FSU obviously doesn't have any ninjas working there. Turned down the SEC in 1990 and signed a GOR until 2036 or whatever. But please, keep the insults coming towards conference leadership.

Well at least we can still feel better than the folks in the Big XII (after Oklahoma and Texas leave). Its not great but we have to look for some positives and being tier 3 behind tier 1 - SEC, B1G, tier 2 - Pac 12 (after their next tv contract in 2024). It could be worse, we could be tier 4 or tier 5 or tier 6.
