With the AACs push for Automony status, this does seem to further indicate that after the power confernces take their picks, the rest will reorganize under the Big 12 shell as opposed to joining an AAC

I definitely see a AAC and B12 leftovers merger coming on. They keep all the B12 name and status while using a percentage the buyouts to get AAC teams to do it quickly.
