Gamecock, it's real. Bank on it! And it's been in process a while now. And in 2026 we move to 11P games. Likely 9 conference and 2 OOC. So expansion shouldn't impact USC / Clemson.

This is the issue that ND will be confronting. Will the SEC still want to schedule a difficult OOC game with ND? We have games with Florida and Bama coming up and I wonder if the focus will be FCS or in-state rivals more than an ND game.

Great question.

1. FCS games and likely G5, if we breakaway or form a new division, are going away. Maybe we agree to have more time for preseason practice and culminate that in a pre season game against a FCS or G5 and dump Spring Games which interfere with hoops and baseball. But I expect in short shrift to see a closed upper division schedule of all P games. It's why we are getting more money and it is driven by streaming in that actual number of viewers will dictate ad revenue.

2. ND is in the ESPN family and the SEC would still be responsive. Somebody in areas ND wants a presence will be available for a game. They'll rotate so that it isn't a burden on one school. And now you'll have the Horns and Sooners in house too.

3. So the Irish could rotate Ga Tech, Georgia, FSU, Florida, Miami, Louisiana St., Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and A&M and play any of them in DFW, Houston, or New Orleans. I don't see an issue in the West or Deep South.

#1 would be great, #2 and/or #3 would continue the nonsense of ND.
