Given that the network is a semi-official mouthpiece for the conference, does anybody still realistically think TAMU can block this?

I don't listen to the show, but I have to figure if ever there was a day to look up PAAAWWLLLLLL's show, it's today.

The actual balance will depend on crossover scheduling. I could see high crossover schedules yielding easy roads for some teams and ludicrous roads for others. Pod A and B are pretty brutal in baseball. They're all kinda bad in hoops.

I'm pretty sure the pod concept is primarily for football. In basketball, with a 16 team conference, you'd probably play every school once plus perhaps your pod home and home. In baseball, who the hell knows (you're not playing 15 series), so maybe you play the pod plus others? Clearly people who make money to do this thing will have better ideas, but they're not going to make decisions about whether or not to do this based on baseball scheduling...
