Quian just officially committed to Buffalo. Good for him - I'm just happy they arent on our schedule this year.

Hope it works for him. We see players transferring like them buying a new pair of pants or running shoes. Replacing one pair of pants with another. No big deal.

Picking a school and then another school is a BIG decision. One doesn't move from Ypsilanti (S.E. MI) to Buffalo on a lark.

It is a BIG adjustment in terms of athletics, academics, locale (I could go to Buffalo and I'd be lost), etc. UB is a very difficult school academically. It is N.Y.'s flagship university.

Having lived both SE Michigan and East Amherst NY - i can promise you the cultural shift isnt exactly jarring. Hockey, Football, Cold Winters, Cheap Beer, Nice Folks, Greasy Foods - theres more similar than different by a lot.

I can indicate that I also have experience with Buffalo. While I was at EMU I went to Buffalo and ran 26.2 miles as fast as I could to get out of there.

No offense to Buffalo but the idea of running a marathon is to get out of there ASAP. 03-lmfao

if you were even able to run - i would argue that you were doing buffalo wrong. at its finest - buffalo is all about not moving
