FBS is a fairly big step up from the lesser FCS conferences, but if a player can play, he can play. Cody was all-conference as a frosh. Brandon was all-conference this spring at Bucknell.
On that MAC list it's easy to see that many more kids have the transferred out then transferred in. It's likely that way across the country. The bottom line is that many kids have screwed themselves out of a roster spot on a D1 team and are scrambling to find a home at any level this fall.
