Not sure why Molinari (correct spelling) doesn't count [42-17, .712, 2 seasons], but based on win percentage it's still easy.
Monty was 124-170 over 10 seasons for a .421 win percentage.
Tom Jorgensen was 95-71 (.512) over 7 seasons
John McDougal was 136-141 (.491) over 10 seasons
Brian Hammel was 117-138 (.459) over 10 seasons
Heck, Rob Judson was 74-101 (.423) over 6 seasons

Monty's best season was 2015-16 with a 21-13 record thanks to arguably the single worst schedule in NIU men's basketball history. Despite NIU literally and figuratively buying a post-season loss in the bogus Vegas 16 tourney, Monty's boys were 9-9 in the MAC. Since even a blind squirrel occasionally finds a nut, Monty managed one year with an above-.500 MAC record (11-7 in 2019-20). However, he departed with a 63-98 (.391) ledger in a one-bid league that has dropped in conference stature.
