Utica wants Atlantic Hockey, but would they be happy with ECAC?

Yes. It's a way better conference.

A more likely scenario is that the ECAC adds schools, creating room for Utica in Atlantic Hockey. Utica may be geographically close to Colgate, but not in terms of academic reputation.
Who would they add? They seem pretty happy with their current arrangement, and they're a definite step ahead of any of the AHA schools except RIT. Besides, for hockey, 12 is a pretty large conference as it is.
