Checkh Mbodji was an excellent defensive big. He was worse than Vogt on offense, but he was a totally serviceable center as long as he wasn't asked to score.

Such short memories...Mbodj was a very good starting center by the end of his second year here. Above average rebounder, decent FT shooter for a big, and a borderline elite shot contester at the rim.

Tbh, I may be combining Ibrahima Thomas and Checkh Mbodj into the same player.

Yes Ibrahima Thomas was kind of frustrating. Big athletic guy who inexplicably spent way too much time hanging around the 3-point line iirc.
