I don't think the list of potential coaches would look much different had Brannen resigned without fighting for the buyout. We got NKU's coach last time when Cronin was paying UC to leave. We can still afford any up-and-coming mid- or low-major head coach and any top-flight assistant, and that's always who we were going to be eyeing.
