To me I'd be all in if Martin was Huggs' associate HC but it's also probably not fair to count it against Martin since Harrison has been a long time Huggs assistant. I'm the same as you that when a coach is named I'm going to 100% give them a chance. My optimism around Martin is going to be tied to can he get a good staff with an experienced HC like Martelli for Michigan and can sell the program?

I don't think Brannen would have failed so spectacularly if not for the unique circumstances but he was definitely more in the Xs and Os camp and wasn't a dynamic salesperson for the program. I just don't think that Martin's position will give him those immediate X and O credentials so he needs to have that dynamic personality to sell the program.
