I don't really care what the reasons are anymore. I haven't enjoyed the sport for 5+ years and its getting worse every single season. The entire system is corrupt from Jr High through the NBA. And the modern players have a big share of the blame as well.

I dont know if its causation or correlation but your lack of enjoyment of CBB also seems to match closely the Tigers period of little success.

BTW, how is the NBA corrupt? That doesn't make any sense.


The tigers could be in the final 4 right now, I would be just as disgusted with the corruption of the entire sport.

The NBA is not corrupt? I'm sorry but I have no words to respond to that, and I doubt any would matter anyway if you are seriously asking.

I think you seem to have a problem with people getting paid to play a sport. That's fine I guess. But if you have a product that creates revenue you should be able to get a fair share of that revenue. Maybe the free market just isn't up your alley.
:pbjtime:Surely you can imagine that if college players are paid then the very best ones will be going to the highest bidder and the major universities will far and away outbid the smaller schools. Thus Memphis will end up like a division 2 or division 3 school athletic program against the likes of an Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, etc. etc. We will look like a Rhodes College, or Sewanee, or William and Mary.
