We don’t have a go-to guy on this team, but during the home stretch, Boogie was the guy. You might include Williams as an alpha, but he just couldn’t stay on the court consistently due to foul trouble. Boogie was aggressively looking to score. It’s just hard to be a quality team without having a couple of players like this. Nolley was our leading scorer but I’d still say Boogie was the best player down the stretch.

That said, he’s not irreplaceable. There will be lots of alphas on the transfer market that will fill this role. My guess is we’ll have a better team next year with our transfers and freshmen class.

I agree with a lot of what you said but I don't about Boogie being the go-to guy down the stretch. Dayton game: 1-7, 3 points, 0 assists 0 TO. CSU game: 1-4, 4 points, 2 assists 2 TO.

You’re picking out a couple of duds. Look at the majority of games over the last part of the season. The game against Houston showed what he was capable of.

Cherry picking. That is literally half of the NIT games...

I have always been a big fan of his potential but he has always been inconsistent.

Please, allow me.....What you have listed here is perfect and I'll explain why. What you have displayed here with the scoring, simply means that Boogie is a threat. The opposing team has to play to it's strengths....If those coaches decided that their "best" defensive strategy was to take the sophomore scoring guard out of the game, then that's what they had to do....In doing so, the effort taken to eliminate Boogie....Gives openings for shots and driving lanes for others.....The stats may show to one (inconsistency) However;Defensive Strategy;Opponent ie gameplan MUST be looked at as well....

On the contrary, If other guards are a self-check scenario, It allows teams to focus more on the playmakers and not contend with the others that are not a threat from perimeter or has limitations in creating their own shots.....

Again, with Boogies stats, If here were an 80% Foul Shot shooter, He would be NBA bound

HOF level gibberish.
