Can really see us making a run at being a 4 or 5 bid league next season.

Those top 6 should be in the conversation a bid based on current rosters.

We're going to have to do well as a whole during the non-conference. I have a feeling there will be a lot of teams hovering around the .500 mark in conference. That's the problem with parity.

I think it depends on how good teams like Temple, Tulsa, and Tulane end up being. If they are good enough to knock off the top tier teams with some regularity, that could spell trouble. This, of course, is assuming that those schools aren't top-tier teams themselves, which seems unlikely -- but not impossible. If 5 or 6 teams put a lot of separation between the top and bottom of the conference and beat up on the lower-tier teams while also performing well during the non-conference season, we will be able to maximize our bid potential.

Tulsa is always a wildcard .. and they have at least some intriguing pieces. You just can never seem to count on them to put it all together for a year.
