anei has elite shot blocking ability...would be a starter on most top 15 team, would have been the starter at okstate had he stayed

clark was a starter on a top 5 Baylor team, doing 14 and 7..those stats i believe are the best among any big currently in the aac.. not counting that was from tougher competition.
and he retired because he said his knees hurt when he jumped and moved around and was worried about long term effects, and said theyve stopped hurting despite him working out and playing and felt he could probably get back in...

anei and clark both have the potential to be great.. you could make the tourney even if they arent ..obviously backup bigs are needed if health issues arise .. outside of health the talent is there

you talk about your miss ratio with jank, but all those misses weren't great on paper adds to begin with (ray, jasey, chargois, agau)..none of them came in with any expectation of being great..chargois built his hype at smu as a sophomore then regressed.. anei and clark are different in that both come in with expectation

Even though we've always had high level PG when we've gone deep in the tourney, some Memphis fans think we're good at PG as the roster is now.......SMH.

Andre Allen and Willie Kemp...Elite 8.

If you consider either one of those elite I don't know what to say.

I don't want anyone to think I don't like Lomax. We're not going to sniff an elite 8 with him as our primary point guard. I could be wrong but I don't think I am.

Willie Kemp was a good game manager. He understood his limitations. I don't know if Lomax does.

When you play with CDR you can just get out of the way and let it happen. Lomax didn't have that luxury.
