What makes you think Pridgen has a free transfer anywhere? It seems to me that he would have to sit out a year. My understanding was the waiver given back in December (that make him eligible this year) was just a one time thing. There is a plan on the table that was pushed off to next year that would allow anyone to transfer once without having to sit a year. Even if that passed, I would expect Pridgen to have to sit since this would be a second transfer. I would think he is in a sit 1 play 3 situation which is what he was expecting when he came to UNCW. I suppose after 2 years, he could immediately transfer again as a grad transfer if he graduates still having 2 years left. It is hard to keep up though so maybe I'm missing something.

I'm pretty sure that decision came about prior to the NCAA providing this year as a free COVID year, and essentially providing all players the option to a free transfer year for next year without sitting. It's honestly in any successful player's best interest to test those waters and see if they can land in a bigger program. I don't blame them. They're looking out for their current career and potential for professional ball.

In Pridgeon's case, he's now shown a personal ability to be successful at two different mid major schools. The way he plays, he's likely to draw some P6 attention. I highly doubt he's making this move after one year and looking to move laterally or down. Boggs is likely in the same boat there. The others, I don't really see getting P6 attention.
