It is rumblings coming out of athletic departments at all levels. It is the pandemic angle that showed some flaws and gaps in the conferences between the schools that have resources and the ones who do not. I think the first two schools that could leave D1 soon are Chicago State and Presbyterian. Presbyterian would work best as a D3 school, and not D1.

I'm talking about this situation specifically.

I find it hard to believe any A-10 schools would leave due to Covid.

La Salle is one of the schools that is rumored to moved to another coverence or join the D2 because the lost of money. Moving them back to the MAAC might be the answer for them.

I just don't see how making a permanent decision over a temporary problem makes sense. I could see Fordham leaving in order to be more competitive at a low-major conference.

But teams leaving forever to make up money for 1 year? I don't see it.
