Again, you simply just don't know what you're talking about here. First, this thing with the certification is complete nonsense. There was no lapse in certifications which made these audit firms not qualified to perform their audits.

yes, their certifications did lapse as shown on the very U.S. EAC site itself. In fact, I went to the site myself and linked the historical documentation in a post earlier in this thread.

You can continue to say their certifications didn't lapse, but that does not change reality one iota.

I just visited the EAC site again to see if they manipulated certification documents.

They still stand as mentioned previously.

Pro V&V has completed all requirements to remain in good standing with the EAC’s Testing and Certification program per section 3.8 of the Voting System Test Laboratory Manual, version 2.0:

Expiration and Renewal of Accreditation. A grant of accreditation is valid for a period not to exceed two years. A VSTL’s accreditation expires on the date annotated on the Certificate of Accreditation. VSTLs in good standing shall renew their accreditation by submitting an application package to the Program Director, consistent with the procedures of Section 3.4 of this Chapter, no earlier than 60 days before the accreditation expiration date and no later than 30 days before that date. Laboratories that timely file the renewal application package shall retain their accreditation while the review and processing of their application is pending. VSTLs in good standing shall also retain their accreditation should circumstances leave the EAC without a quorum to conduct the vote required under Section 3.5.5.

Due to the outstanding circumstances posed by COVID-19, the renewal process for EAC laboratories has been delayed for an extended period. While this process continues, Pro V&V retains its EAC VSTL accreditation.

I bolded the relevant information for you. There's several other factors at play here. Covid for one, and delays in confirmations of EAC commissioners for another. They did not have a quorum for many years to even have a vote for any sort of confirmation. And I also think we're just getting confused between what the EAC does and what the VSTL does.

Bottom line, at no time did the EAC pull the accreditation from these firms, so as detailed in the HAVA, they keep it.

And take a look at the other firms authorized by the EAC. I don't think any of them got any type of dated renewal certificate in that time frame...so using your logic, there was not one firm in America to do this testing and our entire voting process should have just stopped. Further, when you look at these paper certificates they issue now, they no longer have any expiration date. So what matters here is the HAVA law which again states they remain certified unless the EAC votes to remove it...which they have done in the past for other outfits...but not these two.
