Consultants are paid to reach the result the client wants. They are only slightly less mercenary than lawyers. Not sure what you're referring to, but the two firms who did the Maricopa County audits are not "consultants". They're two of the very few firms in the entire country qualified to do such an audit...and they're independent and accredited.
