Part of managing your brand is making sure "crap like this" doesn't have a Western Michigan University Word Mark, Spirit Mark and/or University Seal. One of two things has happened here:

1) The vendor who produced the apparel did so with out any approve. If so, a cease and desist letter should be sent. Any information regarding possible trademark infringement should be reported to Western Michigan University Licensing consultant Alixe Holcomb, alixe.holcomb@wmich.edu, or Rik Fitton, brand management director at CLC, (517) 204-2933 or Rik.Fitton@CLC.com.

2) Someone @ WMU approved the use (hopefully they also got a fee) and that person should be dragged behind 100 horses.
