Isn't it great to see the old beside the new? What a difference! Which one is more memorable or visually appealing? Which of the two better represent our Brand?

And I'm not sure if it is just the picture, but the Gold color on the apparel and floor W appears to be more of a "Vegas Gold", not the new "Athletic Gold", PMS 7604". So much for guidelines.....

And isn't that one of the reasons Tony Proudfoot and Company said we needed to change our brand, "too many logo and color variations? The problem isn't (wasn't) the guidelines, it is the "people" and "procedures". In the private sector, if WMU was a client of an Advertising Agency, this NEVER, NEVER would have happened (different color golds and using old logos with new logos, altering logos). And where if the F---ing Circle??? The Floor W (not in a circle) is a different color gold, with a double outline (not single), using a new color, none of which is approved in guidelines.

I hate the new Brand identity and the reasons/way they went about making these changes, but the liberties the athletic department is taking should not be happening. Do I think it looks better? Yes. But right now, our Brand identity is all over the place and needs to be addressed.
