RE: What’s the latest on the WMU color and logo rebrand
On our way back home from Kalamazoo last night my youngest son asked, "Dad, is Central Michigan close to Kalamazoo?". I responded, "No, they are up north in Mt. Pleasant, why do you ask?". His response: "Well, I keep seeing Central Michigan billboards whenever we drive here". Of course, he was right. Not only did we see CMU billboards but we passed by EMU billboards as well.

The cost of the WMU rebrand is not only on campus, but much more widespread in advertising. Of course, Proudfoot will point out how many cars pass by our Engineering college in Kalamazoo on 131. I'm thinking, how many of these cars on 131 already know about WMU? Most likely about 90% of them.

This is our advertising dollars hard at work: 1) a rebrand that nobody wants or likes; 2) A failure to to advertise outside Kalamazoo.

Keep up the good work, Proudfoot!
