I don't think there was even a committee. Just the VP of Marketing.

I think this is true. I heard from multiple people within (one coach, one admin) that it was basically "you are doing this. deal with it"

Similar vibe I got when getting these pictures. I got the feeling that the school told athletics “use what logo you want but here’s the two logos (w or bronco head)). And the same comment I keep hearing from 3 athletics people is “the logo will grow on me”. Doesn’t seem they incorporated athletics at all in this rebrand.
