Look, not saying the organizers of this seditious attack on our democracy were your garden variety trump supporter...they likely were not. They were most like QAnon, Proud Boys, Militia, Boobaloo Boi types. That being said, ALL these groups are hard-core trump supporters which trump never fully separated himself from.

MAGA Terror Group Beats Up An Officer


These groups that support Trump are proud MAGA supporters to them. They think Make America Great Again is to turned back the clock to before Lincoln freed the slaves. Until our friends on this board on the right stop demonizing others, and stop posting QAnon Tweets that these people who are doing these things are not our friends. They are our enemies. They made Trump their leader with a voice who Trump is spreading their lies and conspiracy theories? Nothing will change. That is why we need to take the plateform away from Trump from stopping him to spread their propagandas to destroy this country.

I agree---thats horrific---but if you watch the entire video of the officer being beaten by the crowd, you'll see MAGA members surround the officer and use their bodies to protect him. Literally almost as soon as the beating starts MAGA people move in to try to stop the violence against the officer (about the 15 second mark of the video). Those MAGA people then escort the officer away from harm, fending off those that try to strike him. So---yes there are some angry bad folks in that group----but its fairly clear that most of the MAGA people---even those surrounding the capital did not condone any violence and were not participating in violence (instead actively opposing it and placing themselves in harms way to do it). Of course, you wont see that footage on TV--especially on the fake news---which is odd since they have the same tape. So, MAGA is a "terror group"? Really? Of course not.

Im sure there are some scary folks included in the 81 million who supposedly voted for Biden--including bombers, arsonists, and killers. So, that means the Democratic Party is a terrorist group. See how silly painting everyone with a broad brush is. I do agree with you that a move to the center is the calming an inflamed nation needs---but I also have zero hope that the people in charge have any intention of an agenda aimed at either the center or calming the nation.
