I’m sure a new conference would get a slice. Instead of the G5 money being split 5 ways, it’d be split 6 ways. Each G5 would get about 3.33% less.

so why is the G5 going to go along with that? Sure, the political power of the G5 is limited, but why is the P5 going to overrule the G5 objections?

As was already stated, the more G5 teams there are the greater the chances of buy game prices going down.

Plus do the G5 schools really want to deal with the public and political ramifications of crying about the "injustice" from the P5 while doing the exact same thing to this group?
