We all witnessed yesterday, far right Trump worshipers, white supremacists, neofascist "Proud Boys", and conspiracy theorists attack police officers, storm the UNITED STATES CAPITOL BUILDING, break into the rotunda, and break into the senate and house chambers while an active session of congress was taking place. Congress had to be evacuated and shelter inside the building. Offices were broken into and vandalized. Furniture and windows were broken. Outside, media equipment was seized by the mob and destroyed. A step in our democratic process of peaceful transition was intentionally interrupted. It was the first time since 1814 that the Capitol was violently seized, when the British did so during the War of 1812. It was the first time that confederate flags were carried in those sacred halls.

This is all public knowledge and can be confirmed through a quick Google search. And all of this is unacceptable, inexcusable and indefensible.

Are you really trying to conflate decades of anger over racial inequality and police brutality (and the resulting protests) to these psychos that are undermining our very democracy because of conspiracy theories being pushed by a conman?

A woman was killed yesterday and 3 others died from "medical emergencies". That is a tragedy. It's a tragedy that she would throw her life away in such a pointless and fruitless endeavor. All for Donald Trump of all people. Imagine dying for that man. And you and others keep hammering this part about her being in the Air Force for 14 years. So what?? What difference does that make? Am I supposed to feel bad for her now? Plenty of psychopaths, serial killers, and tyrants are military veterans. Most of the dictators and authoritarians that I can think of were in the military at some point. All summer, we heard "play stupid games, win stupid prizes" from right wingers in response to protestors being gassed, beaten and arrested. Well, it would seem that saying applies here as well. You try to break into the house chamber while congress is in session, and capitol police have guns pointed at your face, and they're telling you to stop and back away, and you keep going.....you get shot. That's what happens. Welcome to reality. That lady got a cold dose of it after being emboldened and deluded by Trump's BS.

So go ahead with your talking points. Blame everyone else for what happened yesterday, other than the one person who is 100% culpable. Scream about China and socialism and progressives and yada yada until your kind eventually fade into obscurity, relegated to a footnote in history books. You're on the wrong side of this.
