I'm with Tigersmoke4. I foresee a playoff expansion to eight teams, with a 5-1-2 format. Similarly, I predict none of the P5 leagues expands. At that point, the AAC adds Boise, San Diego State and one other athletics program (likely from the Mountain West) to go to 14 football teams and, as such, solidify itself as the "de facto" No. 6 "power" league (it will never be "power" in the strict sense), with the best shot to grab the G5 playoff spot most seasons.

I do not feel BYU will want to join the AAC. I would prefer the Army/VCU combo (to go with Boise and SDSU) but that seems unlikely.
