There are plenty of others, Tulsa fans are in general in a more vocal mood and gave been since the administration tried to run some BS by us that's an internal school issue. It kind of woke everyone up about stuff that no one had been paying attention to the boards/social media are more active. Some of this is us just being in habit of speaking up right now.

Boise is a crap trip. It has no redeeming value. It's cold, the field is blue, there are no recruiting grounds, your games are late so no one watches, and you get no coverage because the NFL sucks up attention after the primetime game Saturday night going into Sunday. It's a long trip for little reward.

I use to enjoy Boise, but since they got an invite (not actually played in) to a BCS league they have been over the top, which showed up in their strong arming of the MW. They ***** constantly about a conference they can't win, and generally act like Axl Rose with Guns & Rose's.

Some of the people for Boise act like the nerd in an 80s movie about to get the pretty popular chick, only to find out she's a gold digger, air head, and a ***** who is only going out with him to make her boyfriend jealous enough to buy her a ring (a permanent sweetheart deal).

If you don't care for Boise and do not want it in the AAC ... that's cool. It is your prerogative to express that.

But when you can't even fairly acknowledge that Boise football would bring some value to the American ... that is an example of militant bias. I have to patience for such.

What value Bill?

Do AAC teams recruit Idaho? No.

Will they add to our viewership numbers? Not really, they are better than UConn but their value lies in late night viewership which by its nature is low. I realize you have never woke up to see you played a top 25 team the previous night and there is no coverage of it because it happened after the local news and the next day is Sunday and all about the NFL. That doesn't help you grab national headlines which is just one of the many reasons the AAC is more valuable to Boise than Boise is to the AAC.

Will they help us secure the NY6? We already do secure it with them competing to take it from us. Since Navy joined Boise hasn't been to the NY6, has never been ranked higher than 19 in any CFP and have spent 20-30 weeks ranked behind two AAC teams and haven't finished ranked a few times. So not only have they not been a threat to take the NY6 they also wouldn't do much to help us make it.

Will they secure us more money? Seems unlikely in current times, but maybe.
Will they give us another bowl slot? No.
More bowl money? No.
A desirable media market? No
A national following? No, strong regional though.
Will the improve the conference finacially? Unlikely, they have no AD, no HC, just scrapped plans for baseball and the stadium had some cosmetic stuff put on hold, they are in finacial trouble.

Will they create some buzz? Idk, some, but with everything going on? How much? They are a recognized name but their shine has long since worn off, another reason they want the AAC. Puts them back in conversations that Houston, UCF, Memphis, and now Cincinnati have earned and the other schools have contributed to.

Will they add costs for travel? Yes even in football only, although it's not prohibitive it's not a positive either.

Some of us have experience with Boise and playing in Boise, we know the plus and minus with out even including the whole BE debacle, the sweetheart deal, the diva attitude, and the bad relationships they cultivated with their current conference.

Boise doesn't make my list of desirable adds.

BYU, Army, AFA. Otherwise there is no program worth adding at this time.

That's not bias Bill, it's just my assesment.

Wow. Just wow your level of misunderstanding and obsession. Tulsa gonna Tulsa though I guess. BSU did call out Tulsa as a weak add at the time so perhaps that’s where the butthurt lies in you.
