This thread did not spring from the minds of fans. It was triggered by the release of actual evidence documenting Boise reaching out to the AAC and other surrounding olympic sports leagues in an attempt to jump to the AAC. Furthermore--it indicated the AAC returned the interest.

My sense is the WAC could become a viable option for Boise in the next few months IF their Texas expansion goes down. That would make the WAC a much more stable conference that could be a reasonable home.

The only problem with that is the WAC is/will still be an FCS conference. Boise needs an FBS conference though for basketball and olympic sports it really doesn't matter as long as they are D1.
