ECU defeats Norfolk State 8-5, to win Game 1 of the Greenville Regional.

The Pirates got off to a really shaky start. Lots of credit goes to Norfolk State's starting pitcher... he really commanded the game before he got hurt. We also didn't do a good job closing out the game in the 9th... so frustrating, but a W is a W. Especially in the NCAA Tournament.

The Pirates will take on the winner of Charlotte vs. Maryland tomorrow.
