Winning %:
(150 + (10 x 0.5)) / 260 = 60%
150 / 260 = 57.69 %

Insignificant? Hardly, depending on what is at stake. Would you rather your team have a 60% winning percentage, or a 57.7%?

You should have stopped after the first three words of your response and left it at that. Class dismissed.

This is actually hilarious. You start out by whining about someone beating another into submission on the internet because they're wrong. Way to play the hypocrite, but I digress.

Anyhow, what makes this even more hilarious is that you don't even understand how the math works, but you actually believe you "caught" me on the math. You can't make this up! Let me explain to you, so that you can comprehend this very simple concept. The calculation is as follows, using "my" example:

(150 + (10 x 0.5)) / 260 = 60%
150 / 250 (eliminating ties) = 60 %

Note the bold numbers in my example and yours? Mine is correct, because I am demonstrating that ignoring the ties results in little difference. When you ignore the ties, you don't include them in total game count, otherwise you're counting them as a loss. Think long and hard about this concept and perhaps it will sink in.

You don’t understand sarcasm, I see from your first point. Note the little laughing emoji?

As for understanding math, I used it quite regularly for over 40 years as an engineer in the aerospace industry. Let’s say I’ve seen some. You count the games you play - bottom line. Rant on all you want, but the more you do the more stupid you look. I expect you can’t help it and will continue to argue, but like you said yourself above, “ Only when they double or triple-down...”

Out.
