If what you said really is a reflection of your standards for performance then please tell me where you work so that I can start recruiting your best employees away from you. That kind of macho, crack-the-whip, kick-‘em-in-the-ass stuff might sound great on talk radio or with your drinking buddies, but try holding real people to a such an absolute standard and you’ll personally become a very good example of “unsatisfactory results”.

Any employee - including a head coach - has to be evaluated for their progress over time and in comparison to realistic expectations given the circumstances that exist. A “no tolerance for failures” philosophy means no tolerance for development and growth.

And where are all these employees who thing they should get a pass for unsatisfactory work? Where on the “fruited plains” have you been to witness such folks. Please expound.
