Some of those ASUN schools & WAC schools operate with budgets larger than ULM. Some even close to the bottom 2 of the CUSA (La Tech & So. Miss at around 26.8mil) and some of the MAC. To answer your astronaut analogy though, if you did the work necessary to become one and weren’t allowed because the others didn’t like you, you would be upset because you did work hard.
