Honestly wouldn't be a bad idea. Guarantees the league a 2nd (potentially even a 3rd) bid. Think we really need to pump the breaks a bit on the Houston hype.. if we are really being honet they are riding pretty close to the sun on the back of an early season Texas Tech win and not a whole lot else.

They are no way a Final 4/Championship contender and arent even a no-brainer sweet 16 pick so to pretend they are too good for the conference tourney is a little wild.

Okay... everything you just described is indicative of a good, not great team.

The idea that Houston needs to rest up/stay safe for their impending Final 4 run is a little wild to me.

I think the idea is to protect themselves against COVID since they've already got an NCAA bid locked up, not to rest.
