Lomax plays in this game and it's not a contest. Did you see Baugh at the point? Cisse could have done a better job. Lomax shuts down every point guard in the conference. The Cincy guy was tearing us up.

To be fair, we are playing without our point guard too. But it seems we have the better backup option in Saunders. Unfortunately, Memphis is better at every other position. Even without Lomax, Memphis is insanely good defensively.

Be thankful you have a second option. The first half of the season, we didn't have a first option. Lomax was dealing with personal issues and was terrible. Then the light went on and he's been maybe our best all-around player. Earlier in the year, Penny tried Baugh, Boogie and Quinones because Lomax was so bad. He got it together 8-9 games ago and now covid and an injury.
