This is kind of inconsequential (who cares?)so I hesitate to get involved. However, this is comparing apples to oranges. ESU is a Division 2 NCAA school with close to 5000 undergraduate students. We have often played Div. 2 NCAA schools such as ESU, FOrt Hays State (who defeated K State)Pitt State, Kansas Newman U. etc.

The Shox have never played a Div. 2 NAIA school like SW Christian. NAIA schools give out financial packages, not full scholarships. NCAA schools have a certain number of full scholarships. Not 13 like Div. 1 NCAA schools, but I’m sure it’s more than double figures.

Ultimately, they want to get players playing time but Oklahoma has numerous NCAA Div. 2 schools to play. This is a bad comparison.

A game against an overmatched opponent. That's all I was saying.

It was not a scheduled game. TU had Arkansas and ORU cancelled due to covid-19. Then we would have had basically this whole week off on top of it but SW Christian offered a game to help us keep game ready and to help them play against tougher competition. This was not scheduled at all. Just results of the times.
