USF and UCF are both no better than UC talent-wise. Neither team will contend for an NCAA tourney bid (as a lifetime Cincy fan, you know what the minimum threshold for being an NCAA team looks like). The difference is that under Brannen, Cincy is slowly losing their edge in the intangibles department (deflections, turnovers, clutch plays) and that is why they are consistently losing to unimpressive teams for the first time since the big bang.

That’s just flat out untrue. We definitely have enough talent to make the tournament and likely will with the OOC we have. Historically we’re nowhere near Cincinnati, but this year there’s no shame in losing to us. You lost to a likely tournament team by 5 and fought till the end with a bunch of young guys. When emotions are high, logic is low. Relax, Cincy will be fine

We were man handled by the 13th best team in the SEC just 3 days ago. Georgia beat us by more than they beat Florida A&M, Samford and Montana. Sorry if emotions are high. This is our worst start in 37 years and we show no signs of coming out of it. You think this is bad? Wait to see the reactions when we inevitably lose to ECU/Tulane because it will happen at the season's current trajectory. Houston may beat us by 30.
