We don't have a true point. We're not going to have a true point unless we develop one from Boogie, Q or Baugh. Alo is dumb and he's short and he cant shoot. We have four two-guards. One of them is going to be the answer. That's our choice. They all have the ability to run the point better than Alo. If things go sideways, put Alo in to calm things down.

Our goal should be to build a team to beat Houston. Q, or Boogie at the point gives us size with Nolley at the two. DJ, Williams and Cisse/Dandridge give us an excellent front court. Q,Nolley,DJ,Williams can all shoot threes to spread the floor. Williams is our only guy who can play with his back to the basket. He's a point forward on top of it. A ton of moxie to boot.

That lineup could beat Houston. Not saying they will, but they can.

It would have been nice to pick up Stewart, but he went to Indiana. I agree that we should try Q at the point. Yeah, he's not really one, but nobody else has been worth a damn.

But I honestly think our biggest problem is Penny's crazy substitution patterns. Our starters + Williams quickly run up a 17-point lead on Tulane, then Penny puts in Thomas, Lomax and Jayden, and they promptly give it all back.

Then in the second half, we build up the lead again, and Penny does the same thing all over again.

I 100% agree. I couldn't believe he did it again in the second half. I think Penny has this idea in his head that we have a bunch of interchangeable parts he can substitute at any time, and we'll just keep going along. Like it's an all-star team. It's not.

This team looks legit with Williams...I know we don’t have that much to go but he’s the Alpha we need.....with energy. Lomax is a matador on D.
