It *is* a bad loss, for Cincy. Home game against a team that they always expect to beat (we were 8 - 34 vs Cincy all time before tonight), and sitting at 2-2 coming in, they needed a win and we seemed (in their minds) to be just what the doctor ordered. Cincy was a 9-point favorite.

Of course, we know USF is underrated right now and that will change. But as of now, if I was a Cincy fan, I would be calling this a bad loss.

I'm not big on judging teams by the past. USF has a very talented roster, and are expected to be, at worst, middle of the pack in the AAC this year. Regardless of history, this isn't a BAD loss in my opinion. I do think it's a game we should have won, but it's not like we lost to a team who will be 200+ in the Kenpom rankings. USF is talented and deep enough to beat anyone in this conference, and they were the better team tonight.
