RE: ***General AAC Basketball Game discussion***
Memphis finds itself starting the season off with a 1-2 win-loss record.

Against VCU, Memphis struggled to scored 30-points in the second half, just as they did in the St.Mary’s game. Such was due to a myriad of problems. As Memphis continues to have a hard time finding players who can consistently shoot well in a game against decent competition.

Although shooting well on three’s, Memphis is shooting two’s at only 41.2 percent, and it’s players are not getting to the foul-line as often as they should. On defense, Memphis is fouling excessively and allowing opponents to shoot 50.5 percent on two’s.

Only two Memphis players shot well in the St.Mary’s game, and no Memphis player who took more than 6 fga’s shot well in the VCU game. Also playing VCU, Memphis committed 19-turnovers. Same problem that plagued Memphis last season.

Will be interesting to see what changes the HC makes to address these problems.
