RE: General Game Discussion, Week of November 21
Every conference has cupcake games. The Big Ten has Rutgers and Illinois, the SEC has Vanderbilt and Arkansas, the Big 12 has Kansas. Do you really need to play Abilene Christian? If you really want the week off, don't play anyone! If you have to play Abilene Christian or North Alabama just to play a game, you're better off not playing. Sure, we laugh if Liberty beats Syracuse and Virginia Tech. I'll bet you they weren't laughing up in Syracuse and Blacksburg. They shouldn't have scheduled the games. They gain little financially and wound up humiliating themselves. Same with Iowa State and Kansas State.
