Some of you people have a BIG misconception about how long ULL has actually had a "good" football team. Below is ULL's record covering the 5-year period of seasons from 2014 to 2018:

2014 - 9-4 (LA Tech beat ULL 48-20)
2015 - 4-8 (LA Tech beat ULL 43-14)
2016 - 6-7
2017 - 5-7
2018 - 7-6
TOTAL = 31-32

Meh. That's an okay record, but nothing special. Meanwhile, LA Tech was 42-25 and won 5 straight bowl games over the same 5-yr period. As you may know, both schools had a good year in 2019, with ULL wining 11 games and LA Tech winning 10.

WVU is a P5 and so they can at least play the elitist card. That is not a good comparison. Tech just acts like elitist, yet they aren’t ranked and play in an inferior conference. Whatever...Louisiana and their fans want to play.

Your analysis even further proves what I’ve been saying for a long time now. Louisiana started taking football seriously about 15 years ago. We are really just getting started but that is nobody’s fault but our own.

If you are going to say it, defend it. Please give examples of how LA Tech acts elitist. We hear that all the time from jealous Sunbelters. But, the truth is, LA Tech has NEVER lost a football game to a Sunbelt school. They may piss you off, but it's not acting elitist. It's simply the truth. Maybe you have something else in mind?

...I would say what we're doing is working out just fine, thank you. We shut out the University of Miami (FL) in our bowl game in front of 34K people and 2.37 million TV viewers, while you got to play Miami of Ohio in front of much less of both. (Wait for it....I hear a BOOM! LOL!)

Don't confuse your school's inferiority complex with LA Tech fans being elitist. Nothing could be further from the truth. ULL's football team is not special, and the truth is, the last time you guys came to Ruston in 2015, you brought maybe 1K fans. (I even have pics somewhere.) Fact is, ULL doesn't travel near as well to Ruston as some other Louisiana schools do. Grambling, ULM, Southern U and NW State all travel to Ruston in larger numbers than ULL does. That's the truth. But, as far as I know, you still haven't given a single example of LA Tech's supposed "elitism", which is just silly talk.

Erroneous! I was at that game in ‘15 and we brought way more than 1,000. Wasn’t that one on the higher attended games in recent Tech history?

The separation your administration has been selling you is not reality. Watch the CFP rankings show Tuesday night. You won’t hear Tech’s name mentioned once...unless they’re discussing that embarrassment vs. BYU!
