Give him until the end of the year and see what happens. Or at least to next Saturday after the Navy game.

How many Memphis coaches started their career 4-2? How many coaches anywhere have been able to do that after losing their best player the week before the season and one of their all-time best receivers the week before the 3rd game. Penn State is an utter mess after losing some of their best players. I think Silverfield is doing a pretty good job considering. He seems to be recruiting at a high level. He just seems to be a bad judge of defensive coordinators.
