The system is controlled at the Party level. H.W. Bush got the Democratic and Republican party grandfathered into the ballots in the 50 states. Independents have to get their name on the ballot in all 50 states severally. The cost of that kind of ground campaign for an independent is astronomical.

In the mafia we all know what a made man is. In politics vetting is the same thing. The party doesn't trust you to represent them unless they have the goods on you. So why is the swamp full of critters? Because you have to prove you are a critter before the Dems or Repubs will let you on the ballot at your state level and they have to know you are sold out to them before you get national attention.

So why Trump? Like Ross Perot and Michael Bloomberg he had is own money.

What we have witnessed for 4 years is the total warfare those in control will wage in order to preserve their hold on power and it was by all accounts the ugliest display of what is wrong with America to date.

The only great thing Trump has done for us is to remove the curtain so everyone can see the little corrupt men pulling the levers behind the curtain of the Great and Powerful Oz. So in that regard Trump is Toto.

I wasn't kidding when I said that the average American is just plain damned tired of having the blue faced flying monkeys released on them when they don't toe the line for corporate America.

The Democrats are rife with it, but the Republicans have fallen on their swords left and right to try to stop Trump from wrecking the set up between the Big Banks, Big Pharma, the largest Insurance Companies, Tech and Wall Street and our gubment. The simple truth Dorothy is that both Kansas and Oz run without you and nobody gives a damn in Washington if you find your way back home.
