This is showing up in the fact that Trump ran behind Republicans in most districts and Senate races (McSally an exception, poor candidate in a State that has rejected Trumpism, and flipped Blue because of it).

This does set the GOP up well in the next cycles. But it requires that they manage to harness the Trump voters while moving the party in a direction that competes for the suburban middle class and cuts deeper into the Hispanic vote. This will be hard because Trumpians in large part include a self definition of Whiteness and anti-urban.

We are seeing a realignment as suburbanites are drifting Democrat ever more and blue collar are drifting Republican. But the drift Republican is slowed dramatically by racial barriers in the GOP, especially Trumpians. What is not recognized by most is the same lack of opportunities for blue collar, whether urban and minority or ex-urban and white, are driving discontent. The racial line is keeping this bloc from uniting.

The lack of opportunities range from getting their kids into top public Universities (common for both groups) or seeing high paying blue collar jobs steadily eroded away. China policy, both by government and by business, is a big cause of both problems. It is a very exploitable fissure in the Democratic coalition. As the Democrats move up the education and income ladder to be the party fulfilling this class' needs, they step increasingly on the working class that used to be their base. Trump's rhetoric hit a chord with these groups (both ways), but he had not coherent policies that made any difference, focused on items that did not improve the US position nor effectively drive business into alignment with goals.

My hope is the Biden Administration, which has signaled China policy and rebuilding a common democratic nations front against that threat will actually start to address the issues such as selling seats to PRC kids (and Oli-ogarchy elite) at the expense of American youth who are fully qualified, and also start to drive businesses to actually relocate their supply chains outside China, and having policies that improve manufacturing of more basic goods in the US, and especially of critical tech equipment components. Our Defense department is heavily dependent on hostile countries for components. The same initial shortages we saw in covid would hit us in defense if we had a conflict --and I don't mean direct or hot-- with China, as they can shut down everything from rare earth production to components for networks and all electronics. Any security person will tell you that is a recipe for disaster, and we have no plan.

But to be effective, we must return to normalcy, must stop seeing each other as the enemy. I wish Joe Biden much success; America needs it.

Wow. I am beyond disappointed in you. -3.

You have chosen to cross the isle and try to hand this nation over to a party that has done nothing but plot against our president for 4 years, and support lawlessness in our major cities. Shame on you.

Hopefully Trump is successful in contesting this election. It should be apparent once the courts get a hold of the ballets and looks at the SigInt (Scorecard) program used to count votes. Since the total vote count in at least 6 swing states exceeds the total number of registered voters in those states, it looks bad. It looks even worse when you look at the ridiculous overages of biden votes in a the few large cities in those states.

But, in the far fetched possibility biden does manage to steal it, you certainly deserve the failures that will come to us all. Without a candidate like Trump the GOP is done. I think most of the 71 million voters this year, will not vote for another Rino and especially a Never Trumper.

Where are you getting that info from?
6 swing states had vote counts higher than the number of registered voters?
WI has more votes than registered voters but they had an exceptional day of registrations.

They need to source the claim that 6 swing states had more votes than registered voters, I’m willing to bet they can’t.

WI didn’t have more votes than registered voters, they had 3.6M registered voters on 11/1 and had 3.3M ballots.
