One Article states Georgia

The other article States Michigan

Yet this is turned into another conspiracy shared 1000's of times.

Detroit Free Press
State election agency says failure to update software caused Antrim County election glitch

I'm sure they would love to back off of the "software glitch" now because they realize that it will lead to recounts in every county these machines were used.

Here's the story link:
https://www.freep.com/story/news/politic...194745002/

The key part:
Freep story Wrote:"Because most counties in the state — especially smaller ones — use the Dominion Voting Systems equipment that Antrim County does, concerns were raised this week about whether other county results could have been posted with errors.

But that's not the case, according to the Department of State, which stressed in the news release that the votes were correctly tabulated and the printed tapes showing the results were also accurate in Antrim.

"In order to report unofficial results, county clerks use election management system software to combine the electronic totals from tabulators and submit a report of unofficial results," the release said. "Because the clerk did not update software, even though the tabulators counted all the ballots correctly, those accurate results were not combined properly when the clerk reported unofficial results." "

The only place the error showed up was in unofficial results. In official results, the vote counts were accurate, and that's what the unofficial results were changed to once the error was realized.

Edited to more easily see which was me and which was the story

A software glitch is not responsible for someone writing numbers incorrectly. They stated that the glitch was because the machines werent updated. That has nothing to do with someone writing the numbers down wrong. It sounds like someone to flip the narrative to user error to try to cover for software error.

The software glitch was in the software used to submit the unofficial results. It had nothing to do with the official count. The story states that the software used to submit unofficial results had not been updated by the end user responsible for submitting the results. They were able to verify the error by checking the official vote count against the unofficial count that was submitted.

Nope. THEY didnt discover the error. Someone on twitter said that result was bull****. They then claimed a "software glitch".

Also, why were these machines being updated the night before the election.

Sorry, we're going to handcount each one of those counties. I'm sure we wont find any other issues if you are correct. (Despite the fact its already happened in GA.)
