I have a co-worker whose husband is in the Guard and he's now in Georgia. She said this is the first time he's ever been deployed within the US. Also, had a friend tell me that it could be in conjunction with a current DHS sting operation, here in the states.

Likely due to the largely peaceful protests that cost billions and billions in burned out businesses, looting, arson, attacks on cops, burned cars and other peaceful acts. Early Jan, comes as a surprise, I would have guessed maybe early Feb after hopefully the gutter filth has had their tantrum.
