It amazing how different Ohio is compared to its neighbors in Michigan and PA, obviously. It’s also a big difference that Ohio is apparently much, much better at the vote counting process. Got it done in no time, full results before midnight on Election Day. Seems odd given the geographic and population similarities of the states that one would be so much better.

Ohio's SOS is a Republican. MI and PA are run by democrats.
And Ohio did not go down the rabbit hole of Mail In Balloting. If you didn't want to vote on election day you had a month ahead of time to go in person or you could send in an absentee application and get an absentee ballot.

It was the same In Michigan. You had to request a ballot if you wanted to vote by mail. They did not just mail out ballots to everyone.

This is the huge difference. There are builtin controls for absentee ballots and have been used for years.

Mail in ballots were just sent out to addresses with no verification that the voter lived at the address. Residents reported getting multiple ballots for people who lived at their addresses in the past.

In which state? In Michigan you had to request an absentee ballot one or you did not receive one via mail. I know because I live in Michigan.
